The heart of the game: three items, one open exit, and a decision about how greedy to get.
Three items, one full set
Scattered across the store maze are the three things every shopper in the building wants: The Game (GT VI) glowing pink in the far northeast, The Console in cyan deep in the middle aisles, and The Controller in orange down south. You grab them by simply running into them — and so can the AI shoppers, who will happily steal a dropped item off the floor and carry it around, blocking your set until you shake it loose with a slap or something louder.
The exit opens the moment you have them all
Hold all three at once and you’re carrying the LAST COPY. The streak scoring spikes, a gold badge lights up, the exit door in the east wall slides open with daylight pouring in, and green guide dots on the minimap trace the actual walkable route to it — not as-the-crow-flies, the real path through the shelving.
The gamble: run for the door or chase the score
Escaping banks a +50% score bonus and a victory worth confetti. But every second you stay instead, the score keeps climbing — and the store gets worse. Reinforcement shoppers walk in on a timer. Every bot in the building gets faster and sharper-eyed the longer the exit stands open. Your Heat keeps rising while you carry. Eventually the math flips from “one more lap” to “I should have left,” and knowing exactly where that line is — that’s the game.
The leaderboard remembers
Every run ends at the receipt: your score, your run time, your best full-set streak, and a local top-10 board where you sign your name (12 characters, choose wisely). Deaths say SOLD OUT. Escapes say you win. Both say “press R to run it back.”
